What have we been doing?

Apparently we are not very good at this blogging thing. We have not updated this page since 2007 so before this turns into a Baby Waitz site we thought we would update everyone on what we have been up to lately.

In September 2007 we moved to a new condo on Ashland Avenue located between Waveland and Addison. It is about a 10 minute walk from Wrigley and a few minutes from one of our favorite streets in Chicago, Southport. The condo has 3 bedrooms so we have plenty of space for our new roommate.

Since our honeymoon we have continued to travel around the country and the world. We visited Washington DC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Cabo, Athens, and Santorini.

In January 2008 we found out that Missi was pregnant and the adventure began. Since that day we have been getting the condo and ourselves ready for the arrival of Baby Waitz. Even though we both consider ourselves planners we decided to not find out the sex of the baby. So sometime in the next 3 weeks we will see if we have a boy or girl. Should be exciting.

Our Wedding

We had a wonderful time at the wedding and we hope everyone that was able to make it, had a wonderful time too. We really couldn't have asked for a better day, more beautiful ceremony or a more fun reception. It was an absolute blast! The band actually commented that they had never done a wedding with a more packed and wild dance floor that lasted the whole night long! We knew we could count on our family and friends to tear up the dance floor. You can click on the picture to the left to view some of the wedding pictures.

Now that the wedding is over its time to start our life. Of course that doesn't mean we have to grow up or stop having a good time, it just means we don't have to plan a wedding anymore. We plan on making 2007 an exciting year by traveling around the country and trying to hit as many places/events as possible. So stayed tuned for some good stories and funny pictures. Our European Honeymoon

If you click on the picture to the left you will be able to view a sample of our honeymoon pictures. We had a fantastic time touring France, Spain and Italy. We spent 4 days in Paris, 3 in Barcelona and then set sail for a 7 day Mediterranean Cruise which included Marseilles, Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo, Florance, Pisa, Rome, Naples and Pompeii... all amazing!
